Abstract

[PROBLEMS] A vehicle sun visor in which a sun visor body is pivoted about a support shaft with improved operability. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A vehicle sun visor has a sun visor body (103), a support shaft (105) for attaching the sun visor body (103) to a vehicle body, and a bearing section (117) installed on the sun visor body (103) to connect the sun visor body (103) to the support shaft (105). The bearing section (117) can rotate relative to the support shaft (105) about the longitudinal axis of the support shaft (105). The bearing section (117) has a receiving space (117a) where the support shaft (105) is received. In the receiving space (117a) is placed an elastic body (118) for urging the support shaft (105), which is placed in the receiving space (117a), in the radial direction of the support shaft (105). The support shaft (105) has a portion with a circular arc cross-section that is a portion where a part or the entire part of a predetermined portion of the support shaft (105) has a circular arc shape. The bearing section (117) supports the portion with the circular arc cross-section only at two contact points on a space inner wall section (117b) on the side opposite to the elastic body (118).
