Abstract

Crack durability is enhanced at the sidewall portion by suppressing occurrence of crease on the surface of a different color rubber layer forming a different color portion of a pneumatic tire. On the outer surface side of the wind-up portion (20B) of a carcass (20) wound up to the sidewall (3) of a pneumatic tire, a laminate portion (42) is formed by laminating white ribbon-like rubber (42G), and a different color rubber layer (41) is formed by providing a white first cover rubber (43) on the outer surface thereof. On the outer surface of the different color rubber layer (41), a second cover rubber (43) of black rubber is arranged, and a part thereof is ground to expose the different color rubber layer (41), and then a different color portion (40) of white rubber is formed on the outer surface of the sidewall (3). In addition, the wind-up end (20C) of the carcass (20) is arranged on the tire radial outside of the laminate portion (42).
