Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour pulvériser ou broyer la canne à sucre par jet de liquide à une pression supérieure à 10 MPa. Le liquide peut être de l'eau ou un milieu aqueux. L'invention s'étend à un appareil pour broyer la canne à sucre, ledit appareil comprenant un système d'acheminement de liquide capable de fournir du liquide à une pression d'au moins 10 MPa pour un jet direct ou moins pour un jet pulsé, un ensemble de buses couvrant la largeur du tapis placé sur la trajectoire des jets, un ou plusieurs moyens de présentation de la canne à sucre pour présenter la canne à sucre pour qu'elle soit broyée par le jet de liquide haute pression et des moyens de récupération des écumes pour récupérer un mélange de liquide et de canne à sucre broyée qui sera de nouveau traité.
