Abstract

　ドアの端面内に埋設されてドア端面から突出する係合位置へ付勢されているラッチを有したラッチユニットと、前記ラッチユニットを左右に貫通した状態でドアの両側面に突出されるハンドル軸と、前記ハンドル軸の両端に結合されているハンドルと、ハンドル用の制動手段とを備えているドアハンドル装置において、前記制動手段は、ハンドル軸と一体に回動するローターと、ローターの周囲部を粘性流体と共に配置する空間を区画しているハウジング及びカバー部材とを有したダンパーユニットからなるとともに、カバー部材が最も外側に配置されて内側を目視不能に覆う装飾用のハンドルカバーを兼ねていることを特徴とする。
