Abstract
垂直磁気記録媒体は、基板と、前記基板上に形成され、残留磁化がゼロの軟磁性裏打ち層と、前記軟磁性裏打ち層上に形成された強磁性記録層と、を含み、前記軟磁性裏打ち層は、互いにそれぞれの非磁性中間層を隔てて積層された少なくとも3層の軟磁性層を含み、前記軟磁性裏打ち層中、少なくとも一対の軟磁性層は強磁性結合を生じ、前記軟磁性裏打ち層中、少なくとも一対の軟磁性層は反強磁性結合を生じる。
