Abstract

Cette invention concerne un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides comprenant une couche de différence de phase disposée sur le côté interne d'une cellule, lequel panneau permet d'améliorer l'adhérence entre une couche de différence de phase et une base dans un matériau de base pour un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides constituant la cellule à cristaux liquides dans une région de scellement étanche et une cellule à cristaux liquides, permet d'empêcher une fuite de lumière, permet d'améliorer la rigidité de la cellule à cristaux liquides, et permet d'éliminer les défauts communs aux panneaux individuels, et un matériau de base de panneau d'affichage pour un panneau d'affichage pour un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du matériau de base. Une couche de commande de différence de phase (14) est empilée sur un matériau de base en forme de feuille (10). La couche de commande de différence de phase (14) comprend une partie anisotrope (14a) ayant des propriétés anisotropes et une partie isotrope (14b) ayant des propriétés isotropes, lesquelles parties ont été disposées dans des zones mutuellement divisées dans la direction de la face. La partie anisotrope (14a) est formée par polymérisation, pour le durcissement, d'un cristal liquide polymérisable en tant que matériau dans un état aligné à l'aide d'un masque métallique (70) ayant une structure telle qu'un autre cadre d'image est disposé sur le côté interne d'un cadre d'image. La partie anisotrope (14b) est formée par polymérisation, pour le durcissement, du cristal liquide polymérisable en tant que matériau dans un état isotrope non aligné. La partie isotrope (14b) est disposée dans la zone comprenant au moins une zone de joint étanche prévue dans la couche de commande de différence de phase (14).
