Abstract

　たとえば、歩行者を認証対象とし、当該歩行者から取得した顔画像をあらかじめ登録された辞書情報と照合することにより当該歩行者はあらかじめ登録された人物であるかを判定する顔認証装置において、カメラから得られる高階調入力画像について変化検出と頭部候補検出を行ない、次に、頭部候補領域について顔輝度変換を行なうことにより低階調入力画像に変換し、さらに、得られた低階調入力画像について顔パターン検出を行なう。
