Abstract

L'invention concerne une pile à combustible dotée d'une unité de génération d'électricité comprenant une cathode (13) pour réduire l'oxygène, une anode (12) pour oxyder un carburant gazeux et une membrane électrolyte conductrice d'ions (11) intercalée entre celles-ci, et un mécanisme d'alimentation de carburant capable de stocker un premier carburant et un second carburant dans (30) et (31) de façon à ce qu'ils ne se mélangent pas l'un à l'autre dans un état liquide, et capable de fournir ces carburants à l'anode après la vaporisation des carburants. Les piles à combustible et analogues ont attiré l'attention comme source d'alimentation pour les équipements électroniques portatifs. Cependant, elles présentent des problèmes, par exemple, en ce que les piles à combustible traditionnelles ne sont pas adaptées à une application dans les équipements électroniques susmentionnés, étant donné que le mécanisme d'alimentation de carburant traditionnel est conçu pour fournir le premier carburant et le second carburant à une unité de vaporisation à l'aide des accessoires respectifs tels que des pompes spécifiques et analogues. Le problème susmentionné pourrait avoir été résolu, par exemple en adoptant, comme mécanisme d'alimentation de carburant, un mécanisme tel que le premier et le second carburant soient vaporisés à travers une membrane de vaporisation de carburant (25) puis que les deux carburants soient mélangés ensemble dans des unités de dispersion (17) et (20), suivi par l'alimentation à l'anode.
