Abstract

　本発明は、数平均粒径が１０～３００ｎｍである層状粘土鉱物（スメクタイト、タルク、カオリナイト、マイカなどの層状ケイ酸塩）を、水または水系溶媒に膨潤させ、前記膨潤した層状粘土鉱物の端面水酸基をカップリング剤等を用いて有機化処理する工程と、その後、有機オニウム塩を添加することにより層状粘土鉱物の層間の金属カチオンを、メチレンブルー（ＭＢ）吸着当量の６０～１２０％に相当する量の有機オニウムイオンでカチオン交換処理する工程とを有する有機化粘土の製造方法、前記方法で得られた液状樹脂に対し実質的に層構造を保持せず均一に分散可能な有機化粘土、前記有機化粘土が均一に液状樹脂組成物中に分散した樹脂複合体（塗料、印刷インキ、コート材等）、及びその樹脂複合体硬化物に関する。
