Abstract
画像抽出装置は、時系列で取得された画像列の中から、所定の抽出条件を用いてシーンの変化する位置の画像であるシーン変化画像を抽出するシーン変化画像抽出部(12)と、シーン変化画像と、シーン変化画像が取得された時点に所定の時系列範囲で近接した時点で取得された画像である近傍画像とを比較する比較部(132)と、比較部(132)が比較した結果を用いてシーン変化画像またはこれに対応する近傍画像のいずれか1枚を要約画像として抽出する要約画像抽出部(13)とを備える。
