Abstract
The invention relates to a temperature gauge that can be used especially during fire-fighting and rescue operations when looking for injured persons in thick smoke and low visibility. Said temperature gauge comprises a mobile instrument for detecting temperatures and means for transmitting to a user. The invention is characterized in that a temperature gauge is equipped with at least one temperature sensor (1) which transmits an output signal to an electronic unit (4), said output signal being proportionate to the temperature of a source of fire (2) to be measured. The electronic unit (4) transmits the output signal to a loudspeaker (5) that is connected thereto and/or directly to headphones (7) that are coupled thereto, said loudspeaker (5) and/or headphones (7) converting the output signal into an acoustic signal for a user.
