Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a sliding element coated in a structured manner. According to said method, in a first step, a silver-containing layer is electrolytically deposited on a sliding element as the main constituent in relation to the mass, and in a second step, a metal or metal alloy layer is then electrolytically deposited on the first layer. The current density in the first step is at least 1 A/dm2. The invention also relates to a sliding element coated in a structured manner.
