A suitable potential for any alkaline medium which might be used can be calculated from the Pourbaix diagram. Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour réduire l'arsenic dans un liquide acide qui comporte de l'arsenic sous une forme oxydée, le liquide étant soumis à une électrolyse en une seule étape et dans une cellule électrolytique à un seul compartiment à l'aide de courant pulsé en présence d'un sel de conduction. L'invention concerne également une électrode de référence comportant un pont d'électrolyte fait de PTFE.
