Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé destiné à produire une forme optiquement active d'étodolac. L'invention concerne de manière spécifique un procédé destiné à produire une forme optiquement active d'étodolac avec un taux de productivité élevé, à faible coût et de manière simple. Le procédé destiné à produire une forme optiquement active d'étodolac comprend les étapes consistant à : mélanger de l'étodolac, de la cinchonine et du méthanol afin de produire une suspension ; laisser reposer la suspension ou agiter la suspension afin d'entraîner la précipitation d'un sel de (+)-étodolac et de cinchonine ; et produire (+)-étodolac ou (-)-étodolac à partir du sel précipité ou d'un filtrat préparé en séparant par filtration le sel précipité.
