Abstract

【課題】ガラス表面の一点に集中的に加えられる反復的な衝撃力に対しても高い耐貫通性や優れた耐衝撃性を有し、軽量で構造的に負担がかからず、経済性をも有する合わせガラスを提供する。 【解決手段】合わせガラス１０は、厚さ０．７ｍｍの薄板ガラスをガラス層１１として７層積層し、各ガラス層１１間にそれぞれ厚さ０．５ｍｍのポリビニルブチラール（ＰＶＢ）樹脂を樹脂層１２として介装したもので、ガラス層１１と樹脂層１２とを合わせて合計１３層の積層体である。互いに隣接するガラス層１１と樹脂層１２において、ガラス層１１の厚さに対する樹脂層１２の厚さの比（樹脂層１２の厚さ／ガラス層の厚さ１１）は０．７１である。また、樹脂層１２の母材樹脂としてポリビニルブチラール（ＰＶＢ）樹脂を使用したが、それ以外にエチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体（ＥＶＡ）やメタクリル樹脂（ＰＭＡ）を使用してもよい。
