Abstract

A navigation server and the like which can provide the information greatly needed for a user to the user through a navigation device. In a navigation server (100), a first assistance process unit (110) recognizes a current position (p1) or the like of a vehicle (2) mounting a navigation device (200), a specified category, and navigation identification information for identifying the navigation device (200). A second assistance process unit (120) searches for community information that is associated with both of the location information meeting geographical conditions determined according to the current position (p1) or the like of the vehicle (2) and the category information indicating the specified category according to the recognized result by the first assistance process unit (110) from a community database (102). The search result is provided to the navigation device (200) that is identified by using the navigation identification information as the specified community information.
