Abstract

The invention relates to the testing and analysis of materials by radiation methods and can be used for diagnosticating the structure and the composition of the surface and near-surface layers of solid and liquid bodies. The aim of said invention is to simplify a device structural design, to reduce the overall dimensions, mass and cost thereof and to extend the functionalities of the device. The inventive electronic magnetic spectrometer comprises a vacuum chamber, an energy analyser in the form of circular electric circuits, a slit-shaped aperture and an electrons detector, wherein the electric circuits of the energy analyser are embodied in such a way that they make it possible to form, in the vacuum chamber, a magnetic field dependent on the radius ρ of the electron orbit according to a formula H∼ρ-α, wherein H is magnetic field strength and α=0.62-0.76. In addition, the slit-shaped aperture and the electrons detector are embodied in such a way that they are enabled to be displaceable in the cross-section plane of the energy analyser and to be secured in a specified position.
