Abstract

 自転阻止部と円筒部とが一体に形成された自転阻止部側部材とピストン頂部側部材とを結合することにより、中空の圧縮機用ピストンを製造する方法であって、自転阻止部側部材を形成するに際し、該自転阻止部側部材を鍛造するための中間素材を形成し、自転阻止部側部材の円筒部を、先端部がピストン軸に対して非対象形状に形成されたパンチを用いて、該円筒部をパンチ挿入方向の後方に押し出す後方押し出し成形により一軸方向に鍛造成形するとともに、該円筒部を形成する中空部の自転阻止部側底部に、パンチ先端部の非対象形状に沿った形状の肉盗み部を形成する、圧縮機用ピストンの製造方法。中空ピストンを簡単で安価な鍛造で製造できるとともに、重心位置をよりピストン円筒部の軸心に近づけることが可能になる。
