Abstract

 少なくとも1つのサービスを割り当て可能な複数の周波数領域から構成される放送波を送信するにあたり、前記周波数領域と前記サービスとの対応関係を示す周波数編成情報を作成し、該作成した周波数編成情報を、前記サービスが割り当てられていない特定の周波数領域に割り当てて送信する。これにより、放送局のウェブサイトへのアクセスや、セグメントスキャンあるいはチャンネルスキャンなどの無駄な処理や、通信費を要することなく、受信装置において、放送されているサービスを容易に把握できるようにする。
