Abstract

本発明の式（Ｉ）で表されるスピロオキシインドール化合物、若しくはその塩、又はそれらの溶媒和物は優れた１１β－ヒドロキシステロイドデヒドロゲナーゼ１の阻害作用を示し、１１β－ヒドロキシステロイドデヒドロゲナーゼ１の関与する疾患（特に、糖尿病、インスリン抵抗性、糖尿病合併症、肥満、脂質異常症、高血圧、脂肪肝又はメタボリックシンドローム）の予防又は治療薬として有用である。 【化１】
