Abstract

A program instructing a computer to support estimation of the price of a designed component. The program instructs the computer to carry out a step of reading component design information including the attribute values of the component from a design information storage means, a step of reading a template containing one or more items required for estimating the price of the component from a template storage means, a step of displaying a drawing showing the component and its attribute values and the template on a display means, a step of receiving an instruction to associate an attribute value in the drawing with the first item of the items from an input means, a step of reading the attribute value from the component design information and setting the value of the first item according to the read attribute value, and a step of calculating the price of the component according to the value of the set first item.
