Abstract

A patch (17) for fixing a detection device (15) for detecting the state of a pneumatic tire (1) to the inner surface (inner liner (7)) of the pneumatic tire (1). The patch (17) is characterized by comprising a base portion (17A) disposed on the inner surface of the pneumatic tire and a tongue portion (17B) extending from the base portion (17A). The patch is also characterized in that the tongue portion (17B) is so bent as to lock the detection device and whereby the detection device can be fixed in the state of being separated from the base portion.
