Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device adaptable to vehicles with internal combustion engines comprising an ultrasonic component that generates a vaporization of a water content and its decomposition into very fine particles of oxygen and hydrogen to be sent together with the nitrogen in the air and same fuel to the chambers of the cylinders for combustion enriching said mixture.
- the device requires for its operation a volume of demineralized or distilled water with characteristics that comprise a conductivity of 1 ms / cms, a solids content of up to 8 pp / m and a pH between 5 and 7.2
- the invention is based on the fact that water can become a powerful fuel. In fact, water contains two elements: hydrogen and oxygen.
- Hydrogen itself is a recyclable fuel since it originates from water and when it burns it produces water again. But the decomposition of water by means of electrolysis to separate e! hydrogen and oxygen is an expensive process due to the high energy consumption and the difficulty of storing the hydrogen.
- One purpose of our invention is to provide an electromechanical means to vaporize in very fine particles the water by ultrasound application to decompose the molecule of water into its components, oxygen and hydrogen and bring said dissociated elements together with the air and its nitrogen component, to mixing with the fuel, enriching the mixture for complete combustion without contaminating residues in the emission of exhaust gases.
- our invention is based on the application of ultrasound for the generation of steam, an application that is done through transducers that generate ultrasonic waves through the passage of electricity on a special metal membrane of the device, which originates a very fine water vapor when the molecular bonds of oxygen and hydrogen are broken, causing microscopic particles of 0.02 microns, thus causing a lighter gas than that produced by the evaporation of water by means of heat.
- the kinetic energy is such that the bonds of its components are broken, releasing the oxygen and hydrogen molecules, and if this is added the nitrogen present in the air, in 78.03% and in the presence of catalysts and with Ia high temperature of the combustion chamber of the engine, we will have an enriched mixture for the engine without generating polluting waste.
- Figure 1 is a general view of the device of the invention and its schematic assembly in an internal combustion engine.
- Figure 2 is an elevation profile (a) and a view of the inner bottom plane (b) to show the vaporization ducts.
- Figure 3 is a diagram of the electrical arrangement of the vaporizer components seen by its Lower plant.
- the device of the invention is composed of a container (10) to be filled with a volume of demineralized or distilled water, and an annexed compartment (11) separated from the previous one where said liquid to be vaporized flows, where Said steam is conducted by a tube (13) by means of the impulse of a stream of air through an adjacent tube (14).
- Said vapor of fine micro particles is conducted by the tube (13) to a cylindrical tank or tank (15), which has a valve (16) in its cover that allows the entry of air, so as to facilitate the conduction of said micro particulate vapor to a connection (17) connected in turn to a pipe (18) that arrives directly to the intake manifold (19) or to the air intake towards the vehicle engine for each of the cylinders.
- valve (16) mentioned admits air by means of the suction exerted by the manifold (19) where said air contributes as a component 78.03% of nitrogen, forming an enrichment of the combustible mixture together with the vaporized micro particles of oxygen and hydrogen coming from of the storage tank (15).
- Ultrasonic vaporization of demineralized or distilled water from the tank (10), which flows into the compartment (11), is carried out by means of an assembly of electrical and electronic elements.
- figure 2b two perforations appear, one (13 ' ) for tube (13) that conducts the vaporized and another (14') for the tube (14) through which air is injected to press the vaporized towards the tube (13) and the storage tank (15).
- the electrical and electronic elements that appear in Figure 3 comprise a 12 volt power supply (20) connectable in the vehicle to the lighter, for example.
- An electronic card (21) with its conventional components of the technique for this type of circuits, especially has a transducer (22) to convert the electrical energy into kinetic energy through a metallic device that includes a metallic membrane or diaphragm (23) , coaxial with the conduit (13 ' ) of the outlet tube (13).
- This membrane (23) will generate vibrations by the transducer in a frequency of the order of 62.5 pulses per microsecond, vibration that generates an ultrasonic movement to the passage of the electric current on the membrane and to the contact with the water causes the molecular breakdown of the liquid in micro 0.02 micron particles.
- valve (25) When the liquid level is depleted in the compartment (11) the device has an alert through a valve (25) which disconnects the electrical system preventing the device from burning.
- a valve (25) In the pipe (18) that carries the vaporized to the manifold or to the air intake of the engine, another valve (26) is installed which closes the air passage when the supply of micro-particulate vaporized is exhausted, thus avoiding that The incoming mixture to the chambers is impoverished.
- a fan (24) is attached to the device to insufflate a current into the respective tube and conduit (14) and (14 ' ), in order to press the passage of micro particulate vapor through the conduit (13) towards the tank (15 ).
- the feed water to the device may come as an integrated tank as exemplified in the figures, or in spare type container units, adaptable to the body of the device replacing the tank (10).
- the device according to what has been described here has been devised for an enrichment of the fuel mixture in each cylinder of the engine and a noticeable reduction of the contaminating residues during the emission of gases.
- the novelty and advantage of our vaporizer is based on the fact that it allows the hydrogen and oxygen bonds of water to break, releasing its molecules. These molecules when combined with air and its major component of nitrogen (78.03%), in the presence of catalysts such as fuels and gasoline, diesel, vehicular gas, etc., and with the high temperature within the combustion chamber of the engine makes that the reaction of the O, N and H increases the power of the explosion thus generating the conditions to improve the efficiency of the fuel and increase the power of the engine from 10% to 40% and in the same way a significant reduction in the emissions of environmental pollution
