Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une composition de carburant à partir d'huile végétale et/ou animale. Ce procédé consiste : à introduire l'huile dans une unité de réaction tubulaire contenant un catalyseur qui comprend un composant acide et un composant métallique; à faire passer l'effluent de l'unité de réaction tubulaire à une unité de séparation vapeur-liquide; et à introduire une phase vapeur séparée à partir de l'effluent de l'unité de réaction tubulaire à une unité de réaction adiabatique qui comprend le même catalyseur que celui présent dans l'unité de réaction tubulaire, lequel comporte un composant acide et un composant métallique. La composition de carburant obtenue présente un pouvoir lubrifiant acceptable et comprend un mélange de paraffines C12-C18 ou C14-C18 dont le rapport isoparaffines/paraffines normales est compris entre 2 et 8, et moins de 5 ppm de soufre.
