Abstract

The invention concerns a transport system (1) including a towage unit (2) with motor for use in connection with transporting units (3) with one or more freely movable wheels (16), where the towage unit (2) has at least one drive wheel (10) and a coupling system (13, 14, 15) which is adapted so that individual movement of the towing unit (2) and the transport unit (3) due to unevenness in the ground is allowed. A particularly preferred variant of the invention concerns a transport system (1) which is constituted by a towage unit (2), and where the transport unit (3) is a hospital bed, a linen trolley, a food trolley, a mail cart or another kind of transport vehicle.
