Abstract

The invention relates to a flexible oar in which the spoon that contacts with the water has a hard edge made from a conventional material and a soft, resilient, flexible core which is stretched upon impact with the water, thereby increasing the pressure applied by the crew and improving the performance of the vessel.

Description

REMO FLEXIBLE DESCRIPCIÓN. FLEXIBLE REMO DESCRIPTION.

Currently the oars that are used for both water sports and navigation available in the market are mostly made up of two fundamental elements that are the handle used to hold it with the hands and make the force in the water and paddle as such it is the flat surface that, when making contact with the water, produces the necessary impulse to produce the movement of the boat. Normally the oars are made of rigid material with a flat surface to achieve the greatest contact with water.

The flexible paddle seeks to increase the contact surface with the water without expanding the area of the paddle in order to achieve greater performance and speed of the boat with the effort of its crew.

THE FLEXIBLE REMO is made of any material in which conventional oars are manufactured; but it generates the advantage over other models existing in the market to have an elastic or flexible surface in the oar so that it plummets at the time of exerting pressure on the water to produce the impulse, thus increasing the area of The surface of contact with water.

When the FLEXIBLE REMO searches for its support and impulse point with water, the flexible material placed in the oar itself is stretched so that this support point increases by a high percentage and therefore produces a total increase in performance. of the boat.

The physical principle through which the FLEXIBLE REMO works will be possible to use in other elements where contact with water is necessary to produce energy or movement such as propellers, pedals, wheels, etc.

Its special design allows to reduce the effort in the paddling, increase the speed in the displacement and substantially improve the braking of the boat.

For a better understanding of the invention, we present the description of the invention and the parts that compose it.

Figure No. 1 shows the structure of a common oar and the front view thereof. Figure No. 2 shows the figure of a flexible paddle in a state of rest, that is, without being pushed into the water.

Figure No. 3 shows a paddle with the elongation of the elastic material, elongation produced by water.

Figure No. 4 shows: 1. Water resistance to generate momentum. 2. The effort made by the person who is driven by rowing; 3. Elongation of elastic material.
