Abstract

Selon l'invention, des dispositifs et des méthodes servant à créer et obturer des ouvertures formées et maîtrisées dans un tissu, tel que les parois d'un vaisseau sanguin ou des couches du fascia, utilisent un dispositif d'accès et d'obturation implantable ou un orifice d'accès, une ouverture délimitant un emplacement souhaité destiné à une ouverture dans le tissu. Un dispositif d'incision servant à créer une ouverture dans le tissu peut comporter un élément chauffant en forme d'arc ou de croissant, un fil coupant, un jet d'eau ou un bord coupant intégré à l'orifice d'accès. Cette invention a aussi pour objet une incision auto-obturante. Un dispositif d'obturation conçu pour fermer l'artériotomie ou une autre ouverture et permettre une hémostase peut comprendre un filet, un timbre, un anneau ou un fil qui est déployé à l'extérieur du vaisseau, ce qui se solde par le recouvrement du site d'artériotomie. Un autre dispositif d'obturation comprend un stent ou un mécanisme d'obturation tubulaire qui est inséré dans le site d'artériotomie et déployé au sein du vaisseau. Une ouverture latérale permet à une gaine d'intervention de pénétrer dans le vaisseau sanguin. Après l'intervention, le mécanisme d'obturation est amené à tourner dans le vaisseau, de manière que l'ouverture latérale n'est plus alignée avec l'artériotomie.
