Abstract

The invention relates to rolling, more specifically to devices for cutting rolled products into exact lengths. The inventive rotating saw comprises a bed provided with, mounted thereon, a mechanism for reciprocatingly displacing a circular saw blade and a drive for rotating it, wherein the bed is also provided with clamping units for fixing rolled products to be cut and a mechanism for reciprocatingly displacing a circular saw blade, which is used for step-by-step displacing the circular saw blade in such a way that it periodically indents the teeth thereof in rolled products and which is embodied in the form of a hydraulic cylinder and is series connected, via a hydraulic control valve and a servo drive, to an oil pump which is arranged on an oil tank together with an electric motor. Said invention makes it possible to increase the cutting performance and to reduce the circular saw blade wear.
