Abstract

A container comprises a threaded neck (10) having an end rim (16), at least one flange (24) projecting radially outward and an external threading (22) located between the rim (16) and the flange (24), as well as a cap (12) comprising: a threaded skirt (30) closed by a transverse wall (32), and a tear band (34) connected to the skirt (30) by means of at least one breakable connection (41) and located beneath the flange. The transverse wall (32) is provided with one or two annular seal lips (44, 46) cooperating with the neck of the container. The skirt is further provided with an additional annular lip (5) disposed axially between the threading (40) of the skirt and the band (34), and pressing elastically against the flange (24).
