Description

"CONSTRUCTIVE DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN AIR CLIMATIZING AND/OR VENTILATING DEVICE APPLIED TO RESIDENCES, COMPANIES OR INDUSTRIES."
The present demand of patent of utility model of the mentioned title treats of an evolutionary solution to climatizing device, mainly to climatizing device to environments, whose development was born from the need of offering to the market of climatizing devices an innovative solution.
After properly identifying the needs of improvement to be applied in climatizing devices to environments, the petitioner introduced several constructive improvements, which bring advantages in the global performance, it is to say, its functional concept assures the environment presents the better condition of air relative humidity, always inside the range from 70% to 80%. At its turn, new improvements in the system of mist generation allow a more consistent generation and better distribution conditions to the environment to be climatized.
The new climatizing device has as feature the flexibility of use, it is to say, it may be used as a climatizing device to reach the better air relative humidity, previously defined, and after reaching such condition it will exclusively operate as a ventilating device.
Additionally, the petitioner idealized the new device in order to provide total safety to final user during its handling, mainly during the adjustment of the regulator valves, preventing user hands to reach the helix component.
Another aggregated advantage is the new climatizing device is very ergonomic one, offering physical and psychological comfort (mainly by generating cold mist). Also related to the ergonomics aspects, another perceptible advantage is the low noise level from motors and mobile mechanical components.
The corrective and predictive maintenance was also considered, including an innovative maintenance opening in the water reservoir. Finally, the improvement in the climatizing device presents a constructive concept that privileges the assembly operations, due to the optimization of the components design that build an integral body.
Then it is conclusive the new constructive disposition introduced in climatizing device presents several attributes of novelty, with new constructive concept, which may be easily produced in industrial scale and commercially supplied accomplishing the requirements of patentability, mainly as utility model, according to disposed on article 9th of Law 9,279 (Lei de Patentes, Marcas e Direitos Conexos - Brazil), May 14th, 1996.
TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
In order to provide veracity to the above described, a brief explanation of the state of the technique to climatizing devices to environments will be provided, where it will be possible to a skilled person to recognize its negative aspects, to afterwards discuss about the aggregated advantages with the introduction of the improvements in the now claimed device.
The market of climatizing devices to environments offers products that are known by theirs trivial construction, assembled from a main body, whose internal part receives a climatizing system powered by an electrical motor, which sets in motion a set of helices, having in its inferior part a water reservoir, whose function is to provide the environment with higher humidity, when it is operating as climatizing device, and it also presents an air evaporating system. Making a value analysis of these identified devices, the claimer identified a set of aspects that impairs theirs global performance.
A first evidence of a deficient performance is the limited volume of water dispersion (mist generation). It is also considered the fact that after turning climatizing device on, it remains in a constant climatizing regime, and it does not recognize the air relative humidity from point to point, it is to say, it will generate mist in an undefined way, only interrupted by an individual action. Also compromising the global performance of the climatizing device is the fact the water reservoir is open-designed, thus receiving undue dirt and also limiting the efficiency of the mist generation system. The above described condition also justifies the fact of having a functional flexibility, since these devices exclusively operate as climatizing devices, never exclusively as a ventilating device, increasing theirs energy consumption, and also compromising theirs component parts due to the premature fatigue, and in consequence high costs of maintenance or even replacement of the climatizing devices.
Following with the value analysis, we identified the known climatizing devices present an under designed functional system, generally having only one motor to provide energy to the whole device. Additionally this sole motor was in the posterior part of the climatizing device, which is generally fully exposed.
Another common feature of these devices is the fact that all of them neglect the safety aspects, such conclusion being possible by observing the mechanical system has only one frontal protection grid - there is no protection component in the posterior part. At its turn the mist regulation switch component is placed close to the helix component, being a potential source of injuries to the hands' users.
From the ergonomic point of view, the conclusion of the value analysis is the fact the climatizing devices to environments do no present good ergonomic features, being deficient by not accomplishing theirs function of providing adequate climatization, and consequently, do not eliminate the thermal discomfort to users, generating a great physical, psychological and auditory discomfort (high noise level).
The ergonomic aspect to corrective and predictive maintenance is also deficient since there is no kind of access (as, for example, a cover). The assembly of the known climatizing devices is complex, since they have several parts to be assembled, mainly to the simple ones, as the nozzles to mist dispersion.
After identifying the deficiencies of the known climatizing devices, the current critical analysis starts focusing on the identification of possible causes, which are directly related to problems as a technologically outdated and limited design to accomplish only the basic need of climatization, being evident the total lack of usefulness commitment, it is to say, ergonomic aspects, and consequently the low reliability of the final product.
PROPOSAL
According to the above described the petitioner idealized a new climatizing and ventilating device to environments, whose aim is to provide the market with an innovative device, in order to eliminate the negative aspects previously identified.
Then, when the improved climatizing device is introduced in a specific environment it will firstly reach the better performance, through greater volume of mist dispersion, due to an innovative dispersion system, formed with a disk superposed to a basin component, designed in accordance with the mist volume previously determined.
Moreover, after turning the improved device on it will recognize the air relative humidity in each point.
The control of the process of mist generation is automatic and the climatizing device operates until ARH reaches 70%, and when ARH reaches 80% it is automatically turned off and starts operating as a single ventilating device.
At its turn it has an optimized operational system with two sealed motors, being one dedicated to the climatizing system and another one to the ventilating system, both independent, which confers a greater reliability to the device. Also in this scope the water reservoir is closed.
Related to the operational safety, there are frontal and posterior protection grids, and the mist regulation switch is placed outside the helices set. Related to the ergonomic aspects, first of all the device reaches the adequate climatizing function to any environment, eliminating thermal discomfort, generating physical, psychological and auditory comfort (low noise level). In this aspect the thermal comfort, environment cooling, is obtained through the dispersion of a cooled mist from the air conditioning system (system with coil & compressor).
Related to the maintenance aspects of the now improved device, its new design allows easy access to corrective and/or predictive maintenance in the water reservoir. Finally, the new constructive concept considers the optimization of the device assembly, with the creation of integrated parts instead of several elements.
FIGURE DESCRIPTION In order to complement the current description and to get a better understanding of the characteristics of the claim of utility model, a set of figures is attached, where in an exemplified, but not limitative, way the preferred embodiment is represented to the climatizing and ventilating device to environments now claimed, where: Figure 1 is a perspective view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed;
Figure 2 is a frontal view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed;
Figure 3 is a posterior view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed;
Figure 4 is a lateral view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed;
Figure 5 is another lateral view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed; Figure 6 is a superior general view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed;
Figure 7 is an inferior view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed; and Figure 8 is an exploded perspective view of the climatizing device to environments now claimed.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION The following detailed description must be read and interpreted with the attached figures, highly diagrammatic ones, which represent one preferred realization form, not limiting the invention scope, which is only limited by the claims.
Related to the figures the current demand of patent of utility model is referred to a climatizing and ventilating device (A), illustrated from figure 1 to 7 and deeply detailed in figure 8, which is composed by one water reservoir (1), preferentially made in polymeric material, which is integrated to the main body (2), also made in polymeric material by, for example, plastic injection process, where such body is responsible for supporting all components and elements that defines the constructive concept of the mentioned climatizing device. Additionally the water reservoir (1) has in its frontal face a hole (1A), which receives one end of the hose element (6).
The water reservoir (1) is mainly characterized by being a closed reservoir, it is to say, it is not exposed to contamination with impurities from the environment, and it also has a maintenance opening (1B), which allows the access its interior part, being this opening closed by a cover element (9).
The improvement in the water reservoir (1) also considers a valve component (10), which allows the control of water volume, which is made through a hydraulic inlet (10a).
At its turn, to obtain a better performance of the improved climatizing device (A), it has an innovative mist dispersion system, formed from a basin component (4A), whose function is transform water in mist, presenting a multiplicity of high-relieved elements disposed in equidistant way among themselves and close to the most external diameter, and presenting a channel, in a circular shape, around all basin perimeter, which facilitates the water flow to form mist during the operation.
Additionally, this basin component (4A) presents a dispersion nozzle element (4B), which is formed as an extension of the base of the own basin. Finally this assembly receives a disk component (4), which function is to aid the homogenization of the mist flow produced by the improved climatizing device (A). In order to provide a better control of flow of the remaining water from the dispersion process to the basin component (4A) it presents a gutter component (5), whose design creates a nozzle in its frontal portion, from which condensed water is flowed outside the device. This gutter component (5) also receives one end of the hose element (6). The operational principle of the innovative mist dispersion system is based on the rotation of the basin component (4A) with a helix component (11), which is assembled inside the body (2).
In a second embodiment of the improved climatizing device (A), the basin component (4A) is 0.4 cm deep and the 0,11 mm gutter (5) capture the excess of water, which allows to generate mist with water particles with about 0.8 micro.
The assembly movement, basin component
(4A) and helix (11), is made possible by the action of a pair of rotation motors, (12A) and (12B) respectively, being these motors are typically sealed. When defining the motor pair, (12A) and (12B) respectively, the improved climatizing device (A) gets a greater operational flexibility, and can work in a climatizing regime or simply as a ventilating device. This condition is made possible due to the introduction of a device called "humidostat" (17), which is placed about 15 meters far from the climatizing device (A), which is composed by a pair of sensors, one indicating the room temperature and the other one indicating the air relative humidity (ARH). This device is remotely connected to the water pump of the water reservoir (1), and when the previously defined ARH is reached the water pump stops working, and the system operates as a ventilating device. Additionally there is a first element of speed dimmer (8), in the rotation motor (12B), posterior to the rotation motor (12A), which receives electrical energy from an electrical wire (14), and dully assembled in the interior part of the body (2) through a support structure (13). The function of the speed dimmer (8) is to provide the manual control of the speed of the mist generation system, through the control of wind, which allows turning the climatizing system off and the sole operation of the ventilating system (11). The climatizing device (A) is connected to the electrical energy source through an electrical wire (14), which at its turn presents a on/off box (15), having a potentiometer element (15a), also as a dimmer element, as the speed dimmer element (8), presenting the same function of wind quantity control, but in a remote way. Then the climatizing device (A) is regulated to operate in the climatizing regime when the air relative humidity is below 70%. In this condition the pair of rotation motors (12A) and (12B) remains in operational regime, keeping the mist dispersion system in operation.
When the environment presents a value of or above 80% of ARH the frontal rotation motor (12A) is automatically turned off, keeping only the posterior rotation motor (12B) in operation, which effectively acts in the helix component (11), and the system operates as a ventilating device. The measurement of the ARH is made through a specific reader device completely know by the state of technique. The solution now claimed also presents a safety improvement with the introduction of a frontal protection grid (3) and a posterior protection grid (7), isolating the mobile components and preserving the physical integrity, mainly the hands, of users or maintenance people.
In an alternative way, the now claimed climatizing device (A) can operate to allow the mist dispersion in cold temperature, in a constructive variant of the preferred embodiment, connecting to the water reservoir (1) a refrigeration kit, basically composed by compressor, condenser and evaporating tank elements.
The petitioner also presents a version of the climatizing device (A) where it is possible to operate the functional parameters through a remote control device, making easy to user to regulate the mentioned parameters (for example, air relative humidity, temperature, etc), where such improvement allows the access to the control independently of the place and height where the climatizing device (A) is installed. To reach this an infrared sensor (16) is introduced in the frontal part of the climatizing device (A).
For all described and illustrated we can see the climatizing device (A) now claimed accomplishes the requirements of utility model according to the Industrial Property Law, deserving as consequence the respective privilege.
