Abstract
Method and system for presenting a stabilized mosaic view of a cavity (2) wherein an imaging device (6) is maneuvered through a first access point (7) for producing successive input video images that include features in an area of interest (3) within the cavity and the input video images are aligned to compensate for relative lateral camera motion between successive input video images so as to produce successive aligned video images that are mosaiced to produce a mosaic video image that is displayed on a display device (16).
