Abstract
An apparatus for conditioning of air has an air inlet and an air outlet. The apparatus includes a heat exchanger, having a major longitudinal axis and having a shell through which an airflow is forced to circulate, and an exchange coil, fitted within the shell, which contains a heat exchange fluid. The heat exchange is simultaneously, parallel and longitudinal to the air transport, along the major heat exchanger's longitudinal axis. A fan, associated with a motor, produces the flow of air to be conditioned. The fan has an air inlet and an air outlet connected to the heat exchanger. At least one silencer is coupled to the entrance or to the exit of air.
Claims
1. A fan & coil apparatus 10 for air conditioning, said apparatus comprising: a tubular shell 42, through which an airflow is forced to circulate to be conditioned, having said tubular shell 42 a longitudinal shell axis; a tube bundle 40 arranged in the tubular shell 42, through which a heat exchange fluid is forced to circulate for conditioning the airflow; and a fan 30 operatively associated with a motor, said fan 30 connected to the tubular shell 42 containing the tube bundle 40 for producing the airflow to be conditioned, characterized in that the tube bundle 40 consist of a longitudinally finned tube bundle 43, longitudinally arranged within the tubular shell 42, said longitudinally finned tube bundle 43 being linear to the longitudinal shell axis; and the apparatus 10 comprises standardized connectors C1-C3, CT-C4' for indistinctly coupling the fan 30 and/or the tubular shell 42 to each other and/or to connectable modules 60 along the longitudinal shell axis.
2. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein the longitudinally finned tubes of the bundle 43 are extruded profiles in a single piece of metal.
3. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein the longitudinally finned tube bundle 43 further comprises a plurality of longitudinal sheet metal inserts 47 held to the longitudinally finned tube bundle 43.
4. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein the fan 30 is an axial flow fan, said fan 30 having an axis linear to the shell axis.

The apparatus 10 for the conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein the connectible modules 60 being modules for treatment of the airflow, said connectible modules 60 selected between one or more of a group consisting of: a filter, a HEPA filter, a humidifier, a dehumidifier, a ozonizer, a purifier, a device for withdrawing lead, carbon monoxide or nitrogen monoxide from the air, a deodorizer, a ionizer and/or a air perfumer; said connectible modules 60 having an axis linear to the shell axis.
6. The apparatus 10 for the conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein at least a connectable module 60 consists of a silencer 20.
7. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 6, wherein the connectable modules 60 consist of a first silencer 20 coupled to the air inlet, and a second silencer 20 coupled to the air outlet.
8. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 6, wherein the silencer 20 consist of a flexible tube having a wire frame and a covering of plastic, the plastic being PVC or polyethylene.
9. The apparatus 10 for conditioning of air according to claim 1, wherein the apparatus is vertical, said apparatus further comprising a vertical hinged panel 90, in the manner of an access door, and the apparatus 10 is mounted to the vertical hinged panel 90.
