Abstract

L'invention concerne un capteur de position capacitif comprenant un trajet de détection de préférence annulaire, le trajet de détection comportant un ou plusieurs boutons virtuels désignés le long de sa longueur. Le trajet de détection comporte une pluralité de terminaux qui y sont connectés pour le subdiviser en une pluralité de sections, chaque terminal fournissant un canal de détection pour un signal indicatif de capacité. Les canaux de détection fournissent les signaux à un processeur, de préférence un microcontrôleur, qui est exploitable pour faire la distinction entre un utilisateur effectuant un effleurement pour actionner un des boutons virtuels, et un effleurement pour effectuer une fonction de défilement. Pour une détermination comme un défilement, une succession de détections s'étendant sur au moins une distance seuil, par exemple une distance angulaire ou linéaire, est requise. Pour une détermination comme un effleurement, une succession de détections se trouvant toutes à l'intérieur d'une des positions de bouton virtuel préassignées est requise.
