Abstract

 この発明は、内燃機関の制御装置に関し、加速時に排気弁開き時期の影響に起因するエミッションや燃費の悪化を有効に抑制することを目的とする。  内燃機関の排気弁開き時期に基いて、燃料噴射量の上限値を設定する。加速時に燃料噴射量を増量する場合、燃料噴射量をその上限値以下に制限する。噴射量上限値が最大となる排気弁開き時期は、低速域では比較的早い時期とされ、そこからエンジン回転数が中速域へ向かって上昇するにつれて遅い方向へ移行し、そこから更にエンジン回転数が高速域へ向かって上昇するにつれて早い方向へ移行する。
