Abstract

本発明の目的は、軟骨細胞への分化や神経細胞への分化という点で、幹細胞よりも優れている滑膜細胞および羊膜由来細胞を大量に増殖させるために、生体に対しての副作用や阻害作用がきわめて小さく、かつ、有用な活性を有するペプチドを提供することである。 本発明は、以下のアミノ酸配列から成るペプチドから成る羊膜由来細胞又は滑膜細胞増殖促進剤に関する： （１）以下のアミノ酸配列： Lys-Arg-Leu-Phe-Arg-Arg-Trp-Gln-Trp-Arg-Met-Lys-Lys-Tyr（配列番号１）、又は （２）上記配列番号１のアミノ酸配列において、１～数個のアミノ酸が欠失、置換、又は付加し、配列番号１のアミノ酸配列から成るペプチドと実質的に同等の細胞増殖促進活性を有するアミノ酸配列。
