Abstract
内視鏡の設置状態に応じて操作者の意図しない作動を防止することが可能な内視鏡システムを提供する。 この内視鏡システムは、内視鏡20と処置具44との内の少なくとも内視鏡20と、内視鏡20が設置される設置手段と、設置手段に内視鏡20が設置されているか否かを検出する検出手段72と、内視鏡20と処置具44との内の少なくとも一方の作動手段58と、作動手段58を操作するための操作手段62と、検出手段72による検出結果に応じて、操作手段62への操作に従って作動手段58を制御する通常モードと操作手段62への操作にかかわらず作動手段58を制御する制限モードとの間で切り替わる制御手段60と、を有する。
