Abstract

　内視鏡の設置状態に応じて操作者の意図しない作動を防止することが可能な内視鏡システムを提供する。 　この内視鏡システムは、内視鏡２０と処置具４４との内の少なくとも内視鏡２０と、内視鏡２０が設置される設置手段と、設置手段に内視鏡２０が設置されているか否かを検出する検出手段７２と、内視鏡２０と処置具４４との内の少なくとも一方の作動手段５８と、作動手段５８を操作するための操作手段６２と、検出手段７２による検出結果に応じて、操作手段６２への操作に従って作動手段５８を制御する通常モードと操作手段６２への操作にかかわらず作動手段５８を制御する制限モードとの間で切り替わる制御手段６０と、を有する。
