Abstract
Cette invention concerne un dispositif permettant de convertir l'énergie des vagues - WEC. La partie centrale est un récupérateur d'énergie innovant, dénommé GPTO, qui comprend un gyroscope (5) et un générateur électrique rotatif (20, 21). Le gyroscope fonctionne comme une boite à engrenage destinée à transformer en énergie le mouvement des vagues. L'association gyroscope-générateur fonctionne comme l'élément amortisseur d'un système masse ressort amortisseur. Un tel GPTO a été adapté à un WEC innovant, qui fonctionne suivant la théorie de l'absorbeur ponctuel. Le WEC est un dispositif submergé qui possède un système de scellement étanche innovant (40); un nouveau système de translation intégré à un flotteur (54); un nouveau système ressort (49) et un corps cylindrique de grande taille (23) portant des réservoirs d'eau (48), de telle sorte qu'il peut s'émerger ou s'immerger comme le fait un sous-marin. En raison des limitations d'amplitude du GPTO, dans le but de doubler la puissance électrique délivrée, l'invention propose deux sortes d'association en série de GPTO individuel, les deux possédant un générateur de demi-grandeur unique (73) pour deux GPTO (74, 75).
