Description

DEVICE FOR GRANULATION OF MATERIAL
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
Invention belongs to the field of devices for granulation of material by pressing out the material, for example through a sieve.
According to the Seventh Edition of the International Patent Classification (IPC7) this invention is classified and alloted classification symbol B OU 2/20.
TECHNICAL PROBLEM
Technical problem solved by the invention herewith explained consists in the following:
- how to make as simpler and as more efficient device for granulation of material - mass of biohumus i.e. organic fertilizer obtained by means of larvae of synantropic flies, dolls of the flies and thereby to comply to ecological demands, where a granulate is obtained from the device - a pure biohumus in the form of sticks as a pure product and as a substitute for artificial fertilizer.
STATE-OF-ART
State-of-art relates to the already existing solutions in use in the field whereto the suggested invention is lined up. In the process of production of biohumus (for example Ofert, which is a product of ALTAMED company from Belgrade, and that this company and this inventor, both the procedure and the plant for production of Ofert, protected both in the country and abroad), there comes a need for elimination of the remaining larvae and dolls of synantropic flies from biohumus, by means of which a processing of waste is carried out so that it becomes organic fertilizer i.e. biohumus - Ofert (being protected as a brand name as well). Up to now, with solving the problems of crushing larvae and dolls, different methods with uncertain success are in use. Mostly used as an extruder with a screw thread and it proved to give in unfavorable outcome, i.e. it failed to crush completely the remaining larvae of flies that turned out to be undesirable even to ecological demands. Peculiarity of this material - biohumus is in that its being glued in layers and it is quite hard to be removed. All that caused the problems as the screw thread gets overflowed and the machine stops.
Herewith explained invention removes shortcomings of these solutions from the state of art with extruder, as it is a unique device wherein compression of biohumus mass with larvae under a high pressure is carried out.
Thus, the explained invention removes in part shortcomings of the existing solutions from the state of art for the set out technical problem. That primarily relates to a new design solution wherein in use are a hydraulical cylinder with a high working pressure and an operating cylinder that further proves about the absence of complexity in design and effectiveness of the construction, as well as to the cost-effectiveness with manufacturing, and particularly with assembling and disassembling of this device. SUBJECT MATTER OF THE INVENTION
Compared to the solutions given in the state-of-art, herewith explained solution of the device for granulation of material uses a hydraulic and an operating cylinder with a compression space and a perforated plate.
Subject matter of the invention and its novelty is in that in the device therein a compression space exists where the mass of biohumus is of certain humidity whereon with a front of the operating piston achieves a high pressure and that compresses and presses out itself through the profiled apertures onto the perforated plate. Humidity is unified in the mass coming out and in the whole quantity and the coming out granules are in the form of sticks and of a unified quality i.e. unified hardness and length.
Subject matter of the invention is also in that by reduction of the diameter of the profiled aperture in the perforated plate with D/d = 1/2 , a hundred percent of a certainty in killing larvae and dolls of synantropic flies in conical section of the profiled aperture is achieved.
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Device for granulation of material is shown in details in the drawing, where:
Figure 1 - Represents device at the view from the side, Figure 2 - Represents device at the view from the front,
Figure 3 - Represents a part of the longitudinal cross-section of device Figure 4 - Represents a perforated plate, in view from the front, and
Figure 5 - Represents a cross-section of the perforated plate from Figure 4.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Device for granulation of material, according to the invention and figures 1 , 2, 3, 4 and 5, consists from a hydraulic cylinder 1 and a housing 8 of a working piston that are, by means of the carriers 16 and 17, fixed to a pedestal 15 of the device.
From the front side of the device, at the end of the housing 8 of the working piston 2 by means of a thread is coupled an extension 9 of the housing whereto, also by the thread, is fixed a front carrier 10 that carries and fixes a perforated plate 11.
In the inside of the pedestal 15, is set a hydro aggregate 13, with a control panel 14. Hydro aggregate 13 initiates by means of a high pressure fluid and a valve 13' a hydraulical cylinder 1.
In the inside of the housing 8 is set a working piston 2 whereto is by means of a threaded connection fixed to a piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 1. From the exterior of the housing are set micro switches 3' and 3" so as to limit and change the direction of the piston stroke. At the extension of the working piston 2 is fixed a lever arm 3'" for actuation of the micro switches 3' and 3". Front 4 of the piston is in contact with a mass of biohumus 12 comprised within the compression space 7.
Biohumus mass 12 is set in the receiving compartment 6 and through a mouth 5 in a free fall comes to the compression space 7. Way of operating of the device for granulation of material is a simple one and derives in an obvious manner from the above explained.
In the open position when the working piston 2 is drawn in (i.e. when the lever arm 3'" comes to the micro switch 3") biohumus mass 12 from the receiving compartment 6 through the mouth 5 in a free fall comes into the inside of the housing 8 and into the compression space 7. When the lever arm 3'" activates the micro switch 3" then the hydro aggregate 13, by means of a valve 13', moves the piston-rod of the hydraulic cylinder 1 that thrusts the working piston 2. Head 4 of the working piston 2 thrusts the biohumuss mass 12 into the compression space 7 under a high pressure. Compressed biohumuss mass thereupon has the only possibility to pass through profiled apertures 11' in the perforated plate 11.
As the head 4 of the piston by a high pressure (most favourably 170 bars) thrusts the biohumus mass 12 onto the perforated plate 11 , all the remaining alive larvae and dolls are completely crushed in the mass, and through the apertures 11 ' comes out granulate 18 in the form of the sticks but without the larvae. This granulate is used as a pure product of organic fertilizer and replaces the artificial fertilizer in agriculture. Moreover, subject matter of the invention is in that by reduction of diameter of the profiled apertures 11 ' (by a half, i.e. D/d = 1 12), a hundred percent certainty for crushing larvae and dolls of flies in conical section of the profiled apertures 11 ' is achieved.
When upon its move, the head 4 of the piston comes to its extreme position, then the lever arm 3'" activates the micro switch 3', then the working piston 2 starts to withdraw into the opposite position.
Thus, by this device there are achieved both aims defined by the technical problem, as the following: 1 ) that in biohumus mass are destroyed the remaining larvae and dolls of the synantropic flies so as to prevent their further expansion into the open area thereby and in compliance to the ecological demands, and 2) a granulate in the form of sticks of pure biohumus as a product of organic fertilizer for use even as a substitute of an artificial fertilizer is obtained.
