Abstract

La présente invention concerne une plaque de diffusion qui a une pluralité de parties convexes avec des axes longs et courts formés sur une surface de la plaque, dans laquelle les directions longitudinales des parties convexes sont sensiblement alignées dans une direction et dans laquelle, si des rayons lumineux sont incidents sur l'autre surface à un angle d'incidence de 0°, les rayons lumineux se projetant à partir de la première surface de la plaque satisfont les deux conditions (1) et (2) suivantes : (1) en ce qui concerne la distribution de force de projection [1] dans le plan perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale de la partie convexe, l'angle de projection avec la force égale à 50 % de la force au niveau de l'angle d'incidence de 0° se trouve dans la plage de 15-25°. (2) en ce qui concerne la distribution de la force de projection [1] dans le plan perpendiculaire à la surface de la plaque et parallèle à la direction longitudinale de la partie convexe, l'angle de projection avec la force égale à 50 % de la force au niveau de l'angle d'incidence de 0° est dans la plage de 0,5-5°. Selon l'invention, une plaque de diffusion ayant un excellent effet de diffusion anisotrope de la lumière et une unité de rétroéclairage ayant une luminosité et une uniformité supérieures sont prévues.
