Abstract

　９９～７０重量部の芳香族ポリエステル樹脂からなるマトリクス中に１～３０重量部（芳香族ポリエステル樹脂との合計量で１００重量部）のポリグリコール酸樹脂が分散相として存在する樹脂組成物の成形体であって、その厚さ方向酸素透過度が、下記式（１）（ニールセンの理論式）で定まる最小ガス透過度の理論値Ｐ０の５５～８５％の範囲にあることを特徴とする芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂成形体。 　　Ｐ０＝Ｐ１×φ１／（１＋（Ｌ／２Ｗ）×φ２）　　　……（１） 　ここで、Ｌ：＝ポリグリコール酸樹脂分散相の長径、Ｗ：ポリグリコール酸樹脂分散相の短径（厚さ）、Ｐ1：配向および結晶化芳香族ポリエステル樹脂の酸素透過度、φ1：芳香族ポリエステル樹脂の体積分率、φ2：ポリグリコール酸樹脂の体積分率。この成形体は、所定の組成の一次成形体に適切な延伸および熱処理を施して、製造できる。これにより、比較的少量のポリグリコール酸樹脂を配合した芳香族ポリエステル樹脂成形体において、配合したポリグリコール酸樹脂のガスバリア性改善効果を最大限に発揮させた成形体が与えられる。
