Abstract

A device for the formation of a product package, in particular of a pressed stock cube, comprises means (12) for forming the wrappers of the product and means (14) for the final closure of the wrapper around the product, which extend above the means for forming the wrappers of the product. The device can be connected to a packaging machine in correspondence with the unit which wraps the wrapper around a corresponding predefined portion of product.
