Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un tissu non tissé comprenant les opérations consistant à: (A) recueillir des fibres multicomposants pour une nappe de non tissé, les fibres multicomposants comprenant au moins un sulfopolyester dispersible dans l'eau et au moins un polymère non dispersible dans l'eau ; lesdites fibres multicomposants ayant une pluralité de domaines comprenant le polymère non dispersible dans l'eau ; les domaines étant sensiblement isolés les uns des autres par le sulfopolyester dispersible dans l'eau s'interposant entre les domaines ; (B) mettre en contact la nappe de non tissé avec de l'eau à une température et une pression suffisantes pour retirer une partie du sulfopolyester dispersible dans l'eau, permettant ainsi de former une nappe de microfibres ; et (C) hydroemmêler la nappe de microfibres pour produire le tissu non tissé. L'invention porte également sur un procédé dans lequel les étapes (B) et (C) sont combinées. La présente invention porte également sur des articles fibreux utilisant les tissus non tissés.
