Abstract

This invention is related to a recording head (2) provided with a substrate (20), a heat storage layer (21), a heat generating unit (23) formed in a row-like disposition on the heat storage layer (21), a folding-back unit (24B), a first conductive unit (24) having a first connecting unit (24A) connected with the folding-back unit (24B) and the heat generating unit (23), a second conductive unit (25Aa, 25Ba) having a second connecting unit (25A, 25B) connected with the heat generating unit (23). The folding-back unit (24B) has a conductive unit (24Ba). The sectional area of the conductive unit (24Ba) along a specific direction, which the heating unit (23) is disposed, is smaller than that of the first connecting unit (24A). The present invention is further related to a recording device provided with the recording head (2).
