Abstract

　本発明は、新規なコレステロール誘導体であり、下記一般式（１）で表されることを特徴とし、（１）生体に対する毒性が低く（２）内包率が高く（３）超臨界二酸化炭素に対する溶解度が高く（４）全身血管及び肝臓の造影に優れ、（５）かつ、膵臓の造影にも優れ、（６）さらに２４時間以内に体外に大部分が排泄される安全性を有するコレステロール誘導体、リポソーム、リポソームの形成方法、及び該リポソームを含有するＸ線用造影剤が提供できる。
