Abstract

 動きベクトル情報を含みマクロブロック単位で記述されるマクロブロック情報と、マクロブロックを含むピクチャの復号化済みの画像データとを対応付けて保存するピクチャメモリ(103)と、復号化対象ピクチャにエラーがあるか否かを判定するエラー判定部(104)と、エラーがあると判定された場合、復号化対象ピクチャの画像データを、復号化対象ピクチャより前にピクチャメモリ(103)に保存された復号化済みの画像データに置き換える画像データ置換部(109)と、エラーがあると判定された場合、エラーを含む復号化対象ピクチャに対応付けられたマクロブロック情報を、復号化済みのピクチャに対応付けて保存されているマクロブロック情報に置き換えるマクロブロック情報置換部(113)、または復号化対象ピクチャがエラーを含むことを示す情報を、復号化対象ピクチャの画像データに対応付けて保存するマクロブロック情報保存部(602)を備える。
