Abstract

L'invention concerne des éléments chauffants électriques en céramique, comme des bougies d'allumage ou encore des barreaux chauffants, qui sont formés par une combinaison de matériaux céramiques électriquement conducteurs et électriquement isolants. L'invention vise à fournir des éléments chauffants électriques en céramique pour lesquels des conductivités prédéfinies puissent être réglées de manière ciblée dans une large plage et qui, du fait d'un comportement adapté de frittage et de dilatation thermique des matériaux céramiques utilisés, ne présentent au moins quasiment pas de contraintes internes lors du frittage et de l'utilisation à hautes températures. Dans le cas de l'élément chauffant selon l'invention, on forme des parties respectives avec un matériau céramique composite électriquement conducteur et un matériau céramique composite électriquement isolant. Au moins le matériau céramique composite électriquement conducteur est formé d'au moins trois composants céramiques, un composant céramique de base étant ici de l'azoture de silicium, du SiAION ou du nitrure d'aluminium, et la conductivité étant réglée à l'aide d'au moins deux composants céramiques. Un ou plusieurs composants (n) est un siliciure électriquement conducteur d'un métal qui est choisi parmi Mo, W, Ta, Nb, Ti, Zr, Hf, V et Cr. De plus, un autre composant céramique est présent, qui possède une conductivité inférieure par rapport à ce ou ces composants (n). La part respective des autres composants céramiques détermine la conductivité du ou des matériaux céramiques composites.
