Abstract

L'invention concerne des matériaux de filtre efficaces pour l'élimination sélective d'aldéhydes gazeux d'un flux de fumée de cigarette. Lesdits matériaux comprennent un filtre à fumée de tabac qui comporte un matériau support de filtre et un alkylacétoacétate pouvant réagir avec des aldéhydes présents dans la fumée de tabac et éliminer ceux-ci. L'invention concerne également un procédé pour l'élimination d'aldéhydes gazeux de fumée de tabac par mise en contact de la fumée de tabac avec un filtre qui comporte un matériau support de filtre et un alkylacétoacétate, ainsi qu'un article à fumer de type cigarette comprenant ledit filtre à fumée de tabac.
