Description
"COVER FOR A DUMP BODY OF VEHICLES"
The present descriptive report on the patent of a utility model refers to a Cover for a dump body of vehicles manufactured in varied sizes and shapes from metal, glass, rubber, plastic, wood, and/or any other synthetic and/or natural material that can be useful for the desired objective, which is preferably used for covering the dump body of a vehicle.
Moreover, the Cover for a dump body of vehicles may be used at any other place and/or in any other system as well as contain the most varied kinds of materials, either in conjunction or separately, such as canvas, vinyl, latex, rubber, plastic, metal, glass, rubberized textile, impermeable textile, metallic textile and/or the like, inasmuch as they do not decharacterized it by losing the characteristics initially claimed in this report.
The Cover for a dump body of vehicles is developed and projected from a structure formed by profiles, pieces and/or folded sheets that form the base, the structure and other reinforcements, and by panels, folded sheets, modeled sheets and/or the like that compose the finish, the external form and/or the design of the cover.
The profiles, pieces and/or folded sheets used in the structure come in an assortment of shapes, sizes and materials; they may be tubular solid, open, closed or even in special and/or specific forms.
The pieces, profiles, modeled sheets, glass, panels and/or the like that compose the external form, the finish come in an assortment of shapes, sizes, configurations and materials attached to the structure by means of rivets, rubbers,
screws, glue, welds, props and/or the like. The finish pieces may be exchanged and changed thus altering the model. Furthermore, the cover contains glass, either curved or flat, attached in form of windows and/or doors, or, still, other kinds of rigid materials such as steel, aluminum, plastic, fiber glass, and/or the like, or flexible materials such as vinyl, canvas, plastic, and/or the like.
The cover has a pantographic opening of the windows and/or doors, thus the access to the inside becomes easier and the opening takes up less space. The pantographic opening may be manual or automatized with motors, and pneumatic, hydraulic and/or the like systems. Furthermore, the cover may contain the opening of the rear end of the roof and the retractable rear door; the opening is performed by opening the door and releasing the upper rear crossbar of the structure, where it contains the hinges of the door of pantographic or non-pantographic pening, and the rear part of the roof, which are moved to the frontal part of the cover along the rails attached onto the upper sides of the cover; the door and the rear part of the roof may open in an independent manner.
The present model may contain other devices added to its functionality since they do not decharacterize it by losing the characteristics initially claimed in this report.
The state of the art of devices of this nature is quite developed and diverse models of covers for dump bodies of vehicles may be found; however, some observations should be made with relation to them.
In general, diverse models of covers for dump bodies can be found on the consumer market.
Although the covers found in the state of the art fulfill the role they are
supposed to, that is, to cover the dump body of a vehicle, they require sophisticated molds and molds for each type of vehicle and model, and are normally made from glass fiber, making complex the manufacturing process.
The great advantage of the cover for a dump body of vehicles is in having a more resistant cover mounted with molds, which allows us to open pantographic windows and/or doors, to open the roof and, even, to have a rack. All this results in more practical, efficient and safe equipment when compared to its equivalents found in the state of the art.
In order for the protective equipment for a dump body of vehicles, subject matter of the present patent to be clearly understood and implemented into practice by any specialist in this technological sector, it will be described in an objective, clear, and concise manner, the basis being a set of illustrative drawings with relation to the proposed model presented only as a demonstration, without intending to provide it with a limiting characteristic as to the protection scope of the patent, serving only for a more detailed analysis of the characteristics to be claimed.
Nevertheless, the present model should not be limited to the presented form, and other configurative conceptions may be considered since they preserve the same distinctive functional characteristics of this basic model.
These drawings have numerical references mentioned in the report, where: - the figure 1 presents an isometric perspective view of the structure where the profiles (01) and folded sheets (02) are shown.
- the figure 2 presents an isometric and exploded perspective view where the profiles of the structure (01), finish profiles (03), windows (04), and a door (06) are shown.
- the figure 3 presents an isometric perspective view of the cover where the cover with the attached finish pieces (03) is shown.
- the figure 4 presents an isometric perspective view of the cover where the pantographic opening of the windows (04) and/or doors (05) is shown. - the figure 5 presents an isometric perspective view where a lateral finish piece (03) on a glass piece where it forms the side, part of the roof, and the rear part, is shown.
- the figure 6 presents an isometric perspective view of the cover where the finish profiles (07), the opening of the roof (09) with the rear door (06) along the rails (08) are shown.
The cover comprises a structure of profiles (01), pieces (02) and or the like, and panels (03), finish profiles (07), molded sheets and/or the like that form the finish; moreover, the cover contains windows (04) and doors (05) of pantographic opening, the rear door (06) and the rear part (09) of the roof slide along the rails (08) put on the upper sides of the cover, the rear part of the structure that contains the hinges of the door (06), after being released, slides along the rails (08) taking with it or not the rear part of the roof, thus performing its opening.
Certain aspects of the presented model may be altered such as materials, shape, etc. without changing what has been initially claimed.
