  • a player may make advancing moves during the game, bouncing the ball on the racquet or floor with no limit on the number of bounces allowed.
  • the player should use both hands if possible and may raise the ball using the racquet if it stops bouncing within that player's area of play.
  • Protective clothing may be worn. The player may not cross the borderlines, take too long to serve the ball or use anything other than the racquet to stop the ball. No part of the body may be used to stop the ball.

  • DIAMOND refers to a particular position of a pocket. It also refers to the number of points collected in a diamond pocket. Three points are awarded for a diamond pocket. There are two diamond pockets in the middle of the score post.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une aire de jeu destinée à un jeu comprenant au moins deux joueurs frappant un projectile à l'aide un élément de frappe tenu à la main et un équipement de pratique du jeu. L'aire de jeu comprend une surface de jeu, présentant des marquages définissant une zone de jeu avec des extrémités opposées, et un but à chaque extrémité. Chaque but définit au moins deux, généralement huit, ouvertures par lesquelles un projectile, généralement un ballon, peut être projeté par un joueur afin de marquer des points. Chaque but comprend généralement un filet vertical, soutenu par un châssis, définissant les ouvertures de l'ensemble. L'invention porte aussi sur l'équipement comprenant un ensemble de composants destinés à monter un tel but.
