Abstract

The inventive compact disc storage device (200) comprises stacked (202) thin flat supports (230, 250, 260 and 270) which are embodied in such away that they are pivotable about the longitudinal axis (L1) of a post (220). Said supports (230, 250, 260 and 270) comprise surfaces which are used for placing compact discs and are arranged on the same axis (L2) eccentrically to the axis of rotation (L1). The supports are provided with handles (42, 52, 62 and 72). The handles of the adjacent supports are embodied on the opposite sides with respect to a plane (L1-L2) passing across said axes (L1, L2). The handles (42, 52, 62 and 72) are provided with edges (41, 51, 61 and 71) used for preventing the adjacent supports from rotating together with the withdrawable support. The adjacent supports are provided with recesses which are embodied on the opposite surfaces thereof and comprise projections arranged therein. A cylinder (285) for writing office accessories is placed in the central opening of the post (220). A lid (280), which is embodied in one piece with the post, is used for storying small office accessories. In one variant of the device, the stack of supports is embodied such that it is tilted. In the other variant, wherein the device is provided with the greater number of supports, the stack of supports is divided by inserts which are rigidly connected to the stop.
